The Value Engagement Approach (VEA) is a leadership methodology based on the philosophical premise that all people have equal intrinsic value and the principal goal is collective innovation.  We see human value here as not just all people having equal existential worth but all people having the possibility of making a meaningful contribution to the organizations they work for and society.  To this end, we see the primary role of the leader as to provide an environment where all people self-optimize thus presenting their individual talent and for the team to innovate.  In VEA framework, the leadership standard is not simply managing with what is currently in existence but to engender the production of something new that enhances the team’s ability to fulfill its mission.
